The legally binding Terms of Service are provided in English.

Welcome to finds.cx (“finds.cx”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the finds.cx website and the free tools we provide, including our curated product catalogue, product detail pages, agent-link converter, QC (quality-control) photo lookup, weight estimator, buying guide, and related features (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who We Are & What finds.cx Is

finds.cx is a free discovery and utility site for people who shop online from overseas marketplaces and third-party shopping agents. We provide convenience tools such as: a searchable product catalogue, product pages, an agent-link converter, a QC photo lookup, a parcel weight estimator, and a how-to-buy guide. finds.cx is an information and utility service only.

finds.cx is an independent tool — we are not the seller, agent, or carrier. finds.cx does not sell, manufacture, source, ship, or fulfill any products. We are an independent project and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by any shopping agent (such as KakoBuy, Sugargoo, CSSBuy, CNFans, or others), any shipping carrier or postal service, any tracking provider, or any brand, marketplace, or rights holder whose names may appear on the Service. All third-party names, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used only for identification and reference.

2. Eligibility & Your Responsibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least the age of digital consent that applies to you) to use the Service. You are solely responsible for your own purchasing decisions and for ensuring that anything you choose to buy, import, or possess is lawful where you live. finds.cx provides tools and information only — we do not give legal, customs, financial, or professional advice, and nothing on the Service should be treated as such.

3. The Service Is Provided “As Is” — No Warranties

The Service, and all information, data, estimates, and content made available through it, are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or available at any particular time, or that any information will be accurate, complete, or current.

Prices, QC photos, and weight estimates are guidance — not guarantees.

Catalogue prices & currency conversion: Listed prices are approximate and often derived from third-party marketplace or agent data. Live currency conversions use third-party exchange-rate sources and can be delayed, incomplete, or wrong. Always treat the price shown at checkout with your agent or seller as the amount that matters.
Product listings, rankings & “popular” sorts: Catalogue entries, categories, popularity ranking, and related recommendations are opinions and rough guidance only. Prices, availability, and quality change constantly and are set by third parties, not by us. Always verify details (including current price, stock, size, and QC) with the actual seller/agent before purchasing.
QC photos & product info: QC images and product data are pulled from third-party sources, may not reflect the exact item or batch you receive, and may be unavailable, cached, or removed by the source at any time.
Weight estimator: Weight totals and packaging allowances are planning estimates only (± ranges described on the tool). They are not carrier quotes and do not guarantee warehouse or shipping charges.
Link converter: Converted links are generated for convenience. Marketplace and agent URL formats change; verify the destination before paying.

You acknowledge that you use any estimate, recommendation, or piece of information from the Service at your own risk, and that finds.cx is not responsible for decisions you make based on it.

4. Affiliate Disclosure

finds.cx may earn a commission from affiliate links.

Some links on finds.cx — including product “View on KakoBuy” links, converted shopping links, registration links, and other tool outputs — are affiliate links. In particular, links to KakoBuy are tagged with our affiliate code ginoreps. Shipping promotions such as code GINO may also be advertised on the Service. If you sign up for, or make a purchase through, an affiliate link or code, finds.cx may receive a commission or referral benefit at no extra cost to you. Affiliate revenue helps keep the Service free.

Being an affiliate does not mean we control, endorse, or are responsible for the third party’s website, pricing, products, shipping, or service. Any transaction you make on a third-party site is solely between you and that third party and is governed by their terms and policies, not ours. Offers and coupon terms can change on the third-party platform. The presence or absence of an affiliate relationship does not change our “as is” disclaimers or your responsibility for your own purchases.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law, regulation, customs rule, or third-party right;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, any account, server, database, or admin area, or interfere with or disrupt its operation or security;
Scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Service, or hammer our endpoints (including catalogue, QC lookup, analytics, or click endpoints) in an automated or excessive way;
Reverse engineer, copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission;
Introduce malware, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or otherwise undermine the integrity, performance, or availability of the Service;
Misuse third-party services we rely on (such as QC providers, currency APIs, or agent sites) through your use of finds.cx;
Use the Service to infringe intellectual property rights or to facilitate any activity that is illegal where you are located.

We may, at our discretion and without notice, limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service (in whole or in part) if we believe you have violated these Terms or are misusing the Service.

6. Local Data & Communications

finds.cx does not require you to create an account to browse the catalogue or use the public tools. Some preferences (for example language, currency, and saved finds) may be stored in your browser. Link conversion is designed to run locally in your browser. Analytics and operational events may be collected to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information. If we publish a separate Privacy Policy, it will apply alongside these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The finds.cx name, logo, original text, layout, design, code, and the selection and arrangement of content on the Service are owned by finds.cx or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Third-party content surfaced through the Service — including QC photos, product images, brand and product names, agent names, and marketplace data — remains the property of its respective owners and is shown for identification, reference, and informational purposes only. If you are a rights holder and believe content on the Service infringes your rights, please contact us using the process in section 14 and we will review and respond.

8. Third-Party Services & Links

The Service depends on, links to, or passes data to independent third parties — for example shopping agents (including KakoBuy), marketplaces, QC image sources, currency-rate providers, and analytics providers. We do not control these third parties and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy, practices, pricing, products, or policies. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and is governed by that third party’s terms and privacy policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will finds.cx, its creator, operators, contributors, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, packages, money spent with third parties, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Service, any reliance on prices, currency conversions, catalogue rankings, QC photos, weight estimates, converted links, or other information, any affiliate purchase or third-party transaction, or any third-party conduct — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, finds.cx’s total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the total amount you paid to finds.cx for the Service in the twelve months before the claim (which, for a free Service, is zero), or (b) USD 100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, or affects any statutory or consumer rights you may have that cannot be waived.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless finds.cx and its creator and operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of any law or third-party right, or any purchase or activity you carry out through a third party, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Changes to the Service & to These Terms

We are constantly improving finds.cx and may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, please stop using the Service.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws applicable at the place where the finds.cx operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. Wherever possible we would prefer to resolve any concern informally — please contact us first and we will make a genuine effort to sort it out.

13. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with any Privacy Policy we publish, make up the entire agreement between you and finds.cx regarding the Service. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a transfer of the Service.

14. Intellectual Property & Takedown Requests

The finds.cx name, site design, original text, and curated catalogue presentation belong to finds.cx and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes, but you may not copy, scrape, resell, or republish substantial parts of it without our permission.

QC (“quality-control”) photos and certain product images shown through the Service are sourced from shopping agents, sellers, and related third parties for reference only. We do not claim ownership of those images and make no representation about their copyright status.

Copyright / trademark takedown: If you are a rights holder (or their authorised agent) and believe content on finds.cx infringes your copyright or trademark, use the Contact page with: (1) identification of the protected work; (2) the URL or location of the material on finds.cx; (3) your contact details; (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and (5) a statement, made under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the rights holder’s behalf. We review valid notices and promptly remove or disable access to the identified material.
